Velocity Integration

This article describes how to set up the Velocity integration in INSCYD

Updated over a month ago

Velocity is a virtual cycling platform designed for athletes and coaches to train and connect in a virtual environment. With real-time coaching capabilities and structured training sessions, it enables a more immersive and interactive training experience.

Thanks to the new integration between INSCYD and Velocity, coaches can now conduct PPD (Power Performance Decoder) testing seamlessly within the Velocity platform. Test results are automatically processed and transferred into INSCYD β€” no manual data handling required.

What the Integration Enables

  • Coaches can assign and monitor PPD tests directly through the Velocity platform.

  • Athletes perform the test within a virtual training session on Velocity.

  • The test data is automatically analyzed by INSCYD.

  • Results are delivered as a PPD test in INSCYD, ready for review.

How to Set Up the Integration

Step 1: Activate the Integration in INSCYD

  1. Log in to your INSCYD account.

  2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to My Profile.

  3. Select the Integrations tab.

  4. Locate the Velocity integration.

5. Choose the plan you want the tests to be assigned to.

6. Click the Activate button.

7. A green indicator will confirm the integration is active.

Step 2: Connect INSCYD in Velocity

  1. While still in the INSCYD > Integrations section, locate your API key at the top of the page.

  2. Copy this API key.

3. Go to the Velocity platform.

4. Paste the API key into the appropriate field in your integration settings on Velocity.

You're Ready to Go!

Once the integration is set up:

  • Coaches get instant access to the processed results in INSCYD.

  • Training becomes more efficient with automated data flow between platforms.
