Default Athlete Categories
INSCYD includes three predefined athlete categories:
Recreational
Amateur
Pro
Each category has defined ranges for male and female athletes for every metric shown in the physiological performance benchmarks and metabolic fingerprint. These reference ranges are specific to the sport and gender of the athlete.
How to Use the Custom Athlete Category Feature
Accessing the Feature
Navigate to the Settings section in INSCYD and access the Custom Athlete Categories feature to add up to six custom athlete categories.
Managing Custom Categories
Automatic Availability: All athlete categories added by a user will automatically appear in the Manage Athlete section. Users can assign the desired category to an athlete here. Furthermore the added categories will automatically apply to all active sports.
Visualization and Configuration: Additional categories will also automatically appear in the Visualization feature, where they can be configured. If the user does not configure the additional athlete categories, the software will default to the settings of the Amateur category. Users will be informed of this default setting when reviewing a test in the APC.
